What is DISCiple?

Understand your style. Deepen your impact.

DISCiple is a practical tool for exploring how you approach people and relationships in the settings where you serve, work, and grow. It gives you a shared language to talk about your strengths, your preferences, and the ways you can become more effective in helping others.

Designed for coaching, mentoring, and discipleship conversations, it can help you reflect with a discipler, mentor, small group, or ministry leader.

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2

More than a label

Awareness is the beginning, not the destination.

Your DISC style is not your identity or a limit on your growth. It's a starting point for curiosity, conversation, and intentional action.

Use what you discover to build understanding, adapt your communication, and support others more thoughtfully.

What you'll explore

Four ways to grow with greater awareness.

Understand Yourself

Recognize natural behavioral tendencies, strengths, and areas for growth.

Connect With Others

Understand how different styles communicate, relate, and respond.

Coach or Mentor?

Explore whether you naturally share experience or help others discover their own answers.

Grow With Purpose

Use new awareness to make thoughtful choices in leadership and discipleship.

What to expect

Two parts. One personal starting point.

01

DISC Behavioral Profile

You'll see 24 short groups of statements. In each group, choose the phrase that is most like you and the one that is least like you. Trust your first instinct. This part takes about seven minutes.

02

Mentor or Coach?

Answer 20 quick questions about how you typically help people grow. Do you tend to offer guidance from your own experience, or ask questions that help others discover their own way forward?

A discussion tool, not a diagnostic test. This is a simplified DISC assessment designed for coaching, mentoring, and discipleship conversations. There are no right or wrong answers, and it does not measure spiritual maturity.

After the assessment

Put what you discover into practice.

Your personal results provide a starting point for reflection and meaningful conversations about how you lead, connect, coach, and mentor.

  • Explore your behavioral style and how it shows up in relationships
  • Consider how you naturally approach mentoring and coaching
  • Talk about strengths, potential blind spots, and growth opportunities
  • Choose one practical step to apply what you've learned
For individuals and groups

Better conversations begin with understanding.

Bring your results to a discussion with your mentor, discipler, or small group leader. Use them as an invitation to ask questions, listen, and grow together.
